The workshop is timed to follow directly after the meeting of the Intergovernmental Coordination Group of the Northeast Atlantic and Mediterranean Tsunami Warning System on 16-18 November. It will focus on better definitions of realistic hazards, emergency events, inundation mapping and is aimed at members of the academia, industry and public agencies. The focus is Ireland and the North East Atlantic.

The workshop is being organised by Professor Fréderic Dias, from University College Dublin and a partner of ASTARTE. 

Maria Ana Baptista, coordinator of ASTARTE will be a guest speaker, as will be François Shindelé, from CENALT, also a partner of ASTARTE.
