Maria Ana Baptista, ASTARTE coordinator, and Miguel Miranda, IPMA's president, represented ASTARTE at the 16th World Conference on Earthquake Engineering (16WCEE). 

Maria Ana made an oral presentation on ASTARTE entitled "Recent Advances in Tsunami Research in the NEAM region", authored by Maria Ana Baptista, Miquel Canals and Ahmet Yalciner, ASTARTE's Project Management Board.
