Directions to location
1) The EASIEST WAY to reach the CNRS in Meudon is to get on a suburban train from Montparnasse train station in Paris to Versailles-Chantier or Rambouillet station (violet line on the map). STOP at Bellevue. The trip takes 15 minutes and there is a train every 15 minutes. Then it’s a 2 minutes’ walk to the north (your right from the main exit).
2) You can also reach the CNRS using the tramway T2 from Portes de Versailles in Paris. Direction Pont de Bezons, STOP at Brimborion station. Then it’s a 15 minutes’ (a bit hard but nice) walk up to the hill along the CNRS.
3) If you come by the RER C (express train) from Paris: direction Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, stop at Meudon Val Fleury (brown line on the map). Then take the bus 169 direction Pont de Sèvres. STOP at Bellevue. It takes 10 minutes. Then it’s a 2 minutes’ walk to the north (your right from the main exit).
